Alrighty, so a French Pedicure (not manicure)...do they add on false tips or do they use your actual nail? If they use the actual nail, do the nail length need to be long?





Also, whats the average rate for a French Pedicure? (I live in Raleigh, NC)

They do a french pedicure on your natural nails, they do not add false tips. Your nails do not need to be very long. The white line that they draw on will make them appear to be longer. I love the way a french looks on bare feet in the summer. It's so CUTE! Good luck!

well they have to be long enough so they can put the white tip and i live in northern cali and they charge like 25 for it

I'm not sure about the average rate in raleigh I'd say probably $50 or more. They use your actual nail and no length doesn't matter, they just look longer because of how they are painted.
I DONT KNOW A FRENCH PEDI TO ME IS WHITE ON WHITE AND ON YOUR NAIL THEY DONT NEED TO BE LONG HOWEVER IF THERE LONG THEY LOOK NICER. NO TIP THAT EWWW.... ALSO I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND THE MOST I HAVE PAID FOR MINE IS $27 AND THAT IS AT A NICE PLACE.
Average rate is 40-60 dollars for a pedi. Don't get tips put on your toes! They look silly because they are thick and are a pain when they come off. A friend had them done and hated them. Just have them paint your own toe nails keep the nails just short or even with the end of your toes. Don't grow them longer! It is tacky and you can't wear tennis shoes.
for a french pedi you can add tips to the big toes(i dont know where the other poster is getting hers done at for them to be thick cause they arent thick....second you can use your own nails...it would look alot better if your big toe nail was a little long but for the white to look decent the white can be thick or thin depending on the length of the toe nails...oh and the average rate for a pedi is 25-40 where i am...some places actually charge extra for the french look even though that's the type of pedi you're getting
