Doing my own french manicure/pedicure?

so i usually get my nails done at the salon but i waste too much money there. lol :/

so i've decided to do it by myself at home to save money and stuff even though it won't be as enjoyable lol

but my questions are:

for the based, tinted whitish coat:

- where do you get the tinted whitish polish they coat your nails with before they put on the white?

- what colors of that do you suggest?

- what brand would you suggest?

for the white line:

- where can you get a ';pen'; or the white nail polish especially for the white line of the french manicure

~and please i don't use tips so if you can just tell me about the polish that would be great. THANKS!!

also, do they sell kits especially for doing your own french manicure/pedicure? if so, how much do they cost and where can i get it?

thanks everyone!! :]Doing my own french manicure/pedicure?
Try using the Sally Hansen french manicure kits, there are other brands also but I tend to like Sally Hansen products. You can easily pick them up at CVS http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/search/search_鈥?/a> Theyre usually between 5-10$ They usually contain the neutral undercoat, pinkish main color, and topcoat, nail tip guide strips and white polish for the nail tips. Some kits dont contain all that, some do - youll have to look at the specific kit you like. This is the easiest way to do it, in my opinion - and its cheaper than buying all the polishes seperately.Doing my own french manicure/pedicure?
well the first time you do it, it'll be tricky...you will have to get better at it

i use Orly French Manicure(you can but it with 2 french nail polishes)

or buy a light, sheer, pink(i recommend Essie) and you can buy those white pens at beauty supply stores or at Sally's

for the white tips, you can buy a thin nail brush and use a regular white nail polish
What this question is too long to read.
