French Pedicure? Yes or No?

I am getting a pedicure later today and would like to know if french pedicures are still ';in'; at all or if I shouold do something else.

i do mine myself when I'm wearing open toe shoes as the weather is unreliable here and i don't want to spend the money on a pedicure which no-one is going to see!!
